some new work

So for the last couple of days i have been stuck in my studio drawing away working on 3 sketch books at a time, it is slightly driving me crazy. Not to mention the fumes from the white spirit. i’ll post my monoprints on here just as soon as i’ve scanned the little blighters.

Iam working on a large book at the mo, the paper size is A2 and i am painting this rather small on the paper, my tutor has set me a task of making a book about shoes….but atm im not really feeling it, it just seems rather detached from really anything i hope to make. Iam going to be interviewing a few people for inspiration with some of my work, i think i will ask people what is important to them in life and, what the small things in life, is that they appreciate the most.

I have started to paint in Acrylics, i think that it is working well, i think i need to get back to my old ways, not listening or worring what other people are doing. Because my work is to do with illustration, i ma finding it very hard to stay constantly focused on my fine art course, i need to get my technique to be constant and consistent and atm i dont think it really is so iam finding it very hard some times to get inspiration, i guess i should just have more faith in myself.
