I wanted to share with you my current favourite colour combination and my favourite hand on the hip pose (I always stand like that at work, its my teacher pose and the children love to mock me for it). The outfit is a pretty simple, the Breton style top is from New look in the sale, velvet black skirt 50p from a local charity shop and red leather belt Tommy Hilfiger for 99p. Everyone knows how much I love mint/Turquoise i feel like i should have at least one item of clothing on everyday that is turquoise its kind of turning into a mild obsession. Today in other news I have had a rather awesome day which involves, lots of photography, amazing clothes and tons of jewellery… more information on why this is will follow pretty soon, in a blog post or two. I am off to watch new girl….Is there a colour combination that you love?
I would never think to put those together but they do look lovely! My favourite colour combination is cream and gold, or navy and white!

I don't know why I've never thought of it before but you remind me of Jess from New Girl so much! Also I love that top with the belt. Turquoise and mint are favourites of mine right now too. And I'm a serial hand-on-hipper, maybe it's a teacher thing as that's what I plan to be haha xoxo

I would never have put turqouise and red together but it really works! I love pastel colours right now – I've got a pair of mushroom grey pumps (is mushroom a colour?) with mint green bows and it looks great together!
I wear a lot of navy and love the colour combo of navy and tan brown for some reason it just works 🙂 love your blog 🙂

Oh how wonderful, turqouise is a stunning colour – especially in jewelry! Hmm my favourite has to be burgundy and navy.. or a mossy sort of green!

I like turquoise with navy. I have a turquoise skirt that I wear all the time with a navy and white striped shirt I have, it just seems really fun and nautical to me

I actually love turquoise and red too! I think it is really fresh looking because the colors enhance each other so nicely and the contrast really gives it some oomph! Love the pose, very authoritative!
