Inspired by Gustav Klimt

So here is my inspired by post, this week i am loving mustard and patterns and the first artist that instinctively popped into my mind when i was trying to link the two…was the wonderful work by Gustav Klimt cue a ridiculous amount of time searching through images and falling in love all over again. He is one of my favourite artist but i am yet to see any of his work in real life I must see it!….anyway enough about Klimt. This week my star inspired by piece is by the lovely company sister jane who’s creations i also shared with you in my inspired by Frida…remember that awesome floral pattern blazer, well I have discovered a beautiful paisley jump suit which is available at Topshop. So what colours or patterns are you loving at the moment?

A great collection inspired by a fabulous artist. I love mustard, probably one of my favourite colours – I have a massive mustard cardi that I wear all of the time. Love the brogues too x

Lovely post, Ella! I went through a phase not too long ago when I was pretty obsessed with mustard tones, but I am not a big fan any longer. Nonetheless, this collection of brilliant pieces – especially the Topshop ponte rolled sleeve blazer – is slowly changing my mind…

    Best Wishes,

I love Art Nouveau! But prefer Alphonse Mucha. The touch of Klimt on your inspiration board is really visible!

Gustav Klimt is one of my absolute favourite artists, his colour palette is amazing, and you channeled it so well into the lookbook! I would love to own those shoes. I haven't seen a real life Klimt ever either, and I'm dying to! Definitely on my bucket list.. X
