what i wore today…

Breton top, skinny black jeans : New look  | Mustard leather collar : RubyRaeLove |

Flatforms : Boohoo

My hair is crazy messy at the moment, it really does have a life of its own sometimes, I choose not to fight it! I have had a rather busy day, taking my brother to get his hair cut, he decided to get it all chopped off, its so strange to see him without long hair i think its the first time since he was 12. Its rather strange not having to go into work on mondays, I’ve reduced down to part-time hours so i am not to stressed and i can spend sometime doing my business work. I am slowly becoming more confident with my body and again doing outfit posts, I always have so much fun when saul is shooting my photos, he lacks patients but he is always helpful and makes me laugh. I need to dicover some new places to take outfit photos…let the hunt begin…

I have been busy making and squirrelling away over here at RubyRaeLove and here is a sneak peek into some of my new collection hello new mustard leather collar, there will be more available in different colours but for the moment i wanted to share my favourite.

This  outfit is my staple for when i am working in my studio, because for half of the week now i am being supported by my little shop i like to dress as if i was going to work ( i technically am but it really doesn’t feel like it because it is my passion), it makes me feel far more professional and more organised. I’m not sure if anyone else who is self employed or who works from home does this but it just makes me feel ready to work and start the day right. I had my daily diary from frankie on me when we were shooting, i fill it with my daily to-do list… I have started getting RubyRaeLove ready for christmas with new stock and more autumnal pieces its all very exciting.

If you have a question you have always wanted to ask me you can here and i shall collect them all up and answer them in a video or post.

Absolutely loving the Strippy top – looks so cute on you and really works well with you hair. So jealous how long and thick it is! Trying to grow mine out from a pixie cut – NIGHTMARE! x

"Hi I'm Ella and on my train, I found tape in my hair." <3

Absolutely lovin' the ol' Breton tee Ella, I always like to wear relatively nice clothes when working on side projects too, I went through a phase of working-in-pyjamas and ended up napping far too often! Can't wait to see all the new things you have prepared for RRL (: xxxx

i feel the same way about my clothes. if i need to have a productive day or write an essay for uni or something i will get up early and dress really smart. it makes me feel more in control than if i just slob about in my pajamas!

You look beautiful. You are proof that a fringe CAN work with curly/wavy hair. I always developed massive cowlicks, but looking at your lovely face makes me want to try again!

    • September 10, 2012 / 9:30 pm

i do aswell but i pin it across or up at night to save it from going everywhere, i think fringes look best with wavy curly hair you should give it another go 🙂 x
