A weekend wandering around london with friends

I have had one of the best weekends in a while, I spent the weekend with two of my favorite ladies, my two best friends in the entire world. After a busy and tiring day at work I headed over to Holloway road to give them the biggest hug ever as I hadn’t seen them for four whole years. We spent the evening rambling on about life and the things we missed about each other, snuggling under duvets and listening to music into the early hours.

So we decided we would spend the Saturday stalking the delights of my favorite part of town, the East End. Being in a major rush to pack, i forgot to pack tights hence the bare legs in the freezing temperatures but my chunky legs rub together to create heat so I survived! haha! We wandered around looking for somewhere lovely to eat, as both kelly-rose and holly-flow are vegans, we decided to head to Wagamama, believe it or not I had never been before and I literally stuffed my face with sooo many noodles it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time.

If you are ever in the area take the time to stroll around the stalls in Spitalfields I picked up a beautiful bumble bee necklace from Belle Toujours beautiful stall to remind me of the day. I love jewellery that holds memories. There are plenty of stalls with a wonderful mix of things, lots of vintage items, a little too over priced for me but are really worth a good rummage.

We snapped some silly outfit photos down one of my favorite little streets just off Spitalfields sorry for the weird and blurry hand! I’m wearing my £2 bargain coral Primark skirt its the pretties colour and I love it with the breton top, makes me feel rather chic. Exhausted and a little cold we walked to old street in search of a little cafe that holly had been recommended and found it with 10 minutes to spare where we downed some tea and headed home.

The evening was spent watching the lovely Owen Wilson in drillbit Taylor, yes we watched an awful kids film and ate home made popcorn and snuggled under a massive duvet. Today was spent chatting and rambling on about life and wandering around seven dials, I was super sad to leave them and get on my train at Covent Garden today.

I will be in the very area next week when I visit my friend that lives in London – I hope she doesn't drag me past everything at top-notch speed haha! I like to take pictures……I also hope it isn't chucking it down with rain like last time I was there 🙂

Sounds like a perfect weekend! Some of my favourites are when you actually get the chance to just hang out with your besties, not just a quick coffee and a chat, but a whole solid day or two of fun!
