I am massive lover of glasses,
retro frames in particular I was that obsessed with wanting to wear
glasses as a child I would even make my teddy bear wear a pair, and yes I
may have wished as a 10 year old that one day I would be able to wear
them, oh how my 10 year old self would love me now, too many years
doodling in dim light before bed when my parents told me not. But now at
25 my face is graced with these sleek and chic frames, its only taken 15 years…So when a few weeks ago the lovely people over at MyOptique gifted me a much needed new pair of glasses, I had been after a larger framed pair for a while and after spotting these Piccadilly frames from their London retro collection. You can also buy prescription lenses as well which is fab if like me you need glasses for reading and drawing. I love the size of these frames, they make me feel super chic and so french they definitely go well with my new Topshop Breton top!
I love the fact (being a Londoner born and bred) that their new collection London Retro is based on things to do with London, areas, places and tube lines, I think that pretty fab. The retro style is bang on trend at the moment as well. It did take me a fairly long time to choose the perfect frames as their was so much wonderful choice, for both male and females.

Sooooooo… i sat on my glasses over the weekend so this giveaway is meant to be! I LOVE the fitzrovia frames in tortoiseshell and think they would look great with my peter pan collars and new bob cut 🙂 xx

I really like their Vic glasses… but… I think thats because they are very similar to my pair I already have lol. I think I'll have to try and push the boat out and try something different next time I go, something like like Piccadilly – them being bigger than I'd usually go for or Highgate for the same reason… x
