light leathers and pretty back drops

Not going to lie to you, I had just consumed an eight yes eight course
meal at Chai Wu (more coming soon) when these photos were taken, so I
was grateful for the wrap over style top for hiding my food baby! When
out in London (as many other bloggers I am sure do) I love hunting down
fun back drops to snap and share, so when I stumbled across this
beautiful house near Harrods I jumped at the chance to pose in front of
the baby pink door, this has to be the town house of my dreams with
flowing window boxes of flowers and white iron fences how could I resist
its charm?

I’m finally getting my confidence back when it comes to having my photo
snapped, much to my mother and sisters annoyance having to take the
photos but i have missed documenting what I wear with you guys, yes I
draw for a living but I also love a good bit of fashion blogging and its
always nice to share more of what you love, so I’ve been told. So being a little bit more comfortable in my own skin has been great for me to try new clothes that I wouldn’t of before when I was a size 14/16. I fitted into my first size 8 the other day and managed to squeeze myself into a size 6 very much to the shock of my poor ribs! But progress has been wonderful for and looking after myself is giving me back my smile.

While out looking for a fancy gown the other day (hello masked ball party in August), I happened to stumble across the leather jacket i’m wearing from River Island it was a necessary purchase I promise in the sale since loosing weight sadly my wardrobe has diminished to a few pair of skinny jeans, stripey tops and a few dresses and as for my leather jackets they are now all too big for me. So cue new purchase, Loosing weight is a pricey business having to replace entire wardrobes worth of clothes, don’t get me wrong its a great feeling and I should probably learn to take things in but freelancing and wanting to own the whole of topshop isn’t the best combo. I was rather chuffed with this buy as it was the last one in the shop so I’m going to wear it to death. I have always been a black leather jacket kinda girl so change is always good so here is too hunting pretty back drops in London and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

HOPE MONDAY ISN’T TOO MUCH OF A MEANIE
