Mid-week inspiration.

Hello new followers, i would just like to take this opportunity to say hi & welcome to my blog.

It has been rather stormy here today in london, total down pours. But before the rain i went for a walk, with my instax camera and some film having a little look at what is around. I like having the opportunity to glimpse into little things that other people wouldn’t take the time to notice, so here are a few photos of my walk. I love the looks i get from people when i whip out my instax to take a photo they think its a children’s camera and then the photo comes out the top. It is my favorite camera i own, that and my polaroid camera. I love it, the photos are always magical. i bought it from a carboot sale for 20p about 4 years ago and i was so chuffed when i found it.

I have had a few emails from people asking me how i stay creative and inspired, well what i like to do everyday before i set down to work is take a blank note-page in my note book, and write all the beautiful things i can think of this is one i wrote this morning:

Its really just a trigger page to keep me thinking of all the things i like, sometimes it dosen’t work and when that happens i just doodle, draw what ever is in my head, its not good to force things when you have a block. Just take your time, go for a walk like i did today. This is just one way i stay inspired and create fresh ideas, just find what feels natural to you. Fill your head with beautiful thoughts and happy things then you feel that bit more spurred on to create rather then thinking you can’t you can.
Remember tomorrow is Thrifty thursday, so be ready to get thrifty and creative, there will also be a rather exciting give away.

I love polaroid! I got my camera from Ebay for about a pound, I just wish the film wasn't so expensive, I can rarely justify buying it.

Great photos, I have a Polaroid camera that I used to loooove taking photos with. Polaroid photos are always so much more special. Sadly the film has gotten so expensive it's currently retired to a shelf in my room. Maybe one day I will revive it!

I love writing lists. I'm a creative writing student and we get told right at the start of our course just to write what's in our heads. I think it's a really good way to 'get the juices following' etc. Your pics are so cute! X
