These past two days have gone so quickly and there is only 5 days left until my craft fair ( i am not counting this evening ha) I have spent pretty much the whole weekend making, Printing and packaging up all the bits and pieces for the fair.
It can be hard to run a small business and maintain a full-time job, give me back the days when i use to work 16 hours a week. My studio is a complete mess, and I haven’t brushed my hair ha manic times!
But there have been some great moments this weekend we turned our living room into a cinema to watch a christmas carol ( the one with jim carrey in), i ate lots of crumpets, had a family fry up, mum made cheese and onion pie, I ticked my to-do list off and i got my branding just right for Velvet Feather, i got new stamps made, gosh! i love stationary.
Yesterday i took a walk with dad to see a little 1975 Winnebago Brave that his friend was selling its a little bit out of my price range so i am hoping that father christmas will deliver this year?! It is so hard to find the perfect vehicle within my price range…the adventure of the mobile shop continues. And i am desperate to get the shop set up.
There is just another two weeks left at work before i break up for christmas this is truly my favorite time of the year, its when i mainly work the hardest, making things because it is so unwelcoming to go outside, so i have a lot of new things to go in the shop and plus there will be discount on all purchases, i will de doing that sometime next week after the rush of the fair.
I am just looking forward to a rest over christmas and being with my family but until then busy, busy, busy.
I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend? been up-to anything exciting?
I love the stamps! They look so pretty and perfect. This month is always so busy, but I enjoy it because there is so much love shown to each other – family and friends. It makes me happy 🙂
Oh your shoes are lovely. The stamps look great. My weekend was extremely boring towards yours.. been knotting hairs onto a piece of mesh to make a moustache for college. Finally finished! 🙂
I highly doubt anyone will judge you for not brushing your hair. Heck, I just did for the first time in a couple days, too. 🙂 I hope that everything goes well in the next few days for you! I think your stationery looks great, and your branding is so pretty! You did a lovely job, and I hope you don't get too overwhelmed with the coming fair! Good luck!!
