What i bought today…

I don’t often share things that i have bought, but today I had a lovely day out with Debbie and came away with quite a lot. I always feel guilty when I buy new things for myself, I desperately needed new pair of boots for work so that was high on my list. I have a giant hole in the bottom of my primark boots and after humiliatingly going to the shoe repair shop and being turned away because my favorite boots were un-salvageable I started my hunt for my next perfect pair….After a long search and quite a lot of umming and arghing I came across the Amplify Topshop beauties in the depth of the flagship store on Oxford street, at £80 its a crazy amount (to me) to spend on a pair of boots but believe me I will wear them until they fall apart.

The two Dresses I bought in Monki, were love at first sight, both pretty simple but perfect for summer… (if it ever arrives here in the uk) The new Monki store opened on Carnaby street, as soon as my eyes spotted the store I made a dash for the entrance and I was not disappointed in the slightest with the clothes and the shop itself. I made quite good friends with the sale assistant so I could snap some pictures, I told her all about my blog….she had amazing hair! Anyway I will be sharing those with you all soon and the inside of liberty. I was really spoilt for choice and could have easily bought two or three more pieces, but I restricted myself to two dresses.

We then ventured into the liberty where me and Debbie fell in love with practically everything we layed our beady little eyes on. Liberty currently have an arts and craft section (level 4) on display, its were I bought the little sacred heart pendant for £1, I told the sales assistant its probably the smallest thing for sale in the shop to which he replied with fits of laughter…and he hoped the weather would brighten up for me (lovely lad) we regrettably venture into the stationary department….bad move as both me and debbie are obsessed with stationary (she works at paperchase, i use to work at paperchase) I couldn’t resist the rifle paper co. notebooks (pack of 3) beautiful and my must have stationary maker!

Also today my mum and sister did a carboot, on their way out spotted the large leather doctor/medicine style bag and snapped it up for me as they thought I might like it, its massive, pretty amazing, cheap and real leather what more could I ask for? So for the rest of the month my bank card is stay firmly shut in my purse.

So all in all it was a really lovely spending spree….have you bought anything nice recently?

I went a quick trip to a shopping center today where I bought a Paddington Bear book for my nephews christening tomorrow (Little buy got to have the classics) & also treated myself to 2 cloth-bound notebookes for my writing scribbles/ideas.
Two weeks ago I bought 4 silver & pearl charms as a gift to me & my friends, so that we could each have one to wear to remind us of the others.
I normally don't spend that much money on things for myself, it makes me feel guilty too!

Those boots are perfect. I want them so bad. I might just have to buy them considering it's winter in Australia now 😉

Those Monki dresses are gorgeous, will definitely be paying their shop a visit next time I'm in London. I've seen a few nice things on their website but I do like to try things on the first time I buy from somewhere! That car boot sale leather bag is gorgeous and a bargain for £5!

LOvely bag, and as for the boots, £80 IS a lot, but worth it if you are going to wear them constantly. As a frequent purchaser of primark shoes, they definitely don't last that long, pretty though they are. Boots are worth splashing out on.

    Lovely dress too!
