Going for a stroll

// Dress / h&m //  Shoes / vans // Cardigan / F+F // Scarf / Market stall // Watch / John Lewis //

I took a stroll with my brother to get some fresh air as I haven’t been very well recently I have a crazy amount of blood tests coming up to determine what is actually the problem with my body. So i am trying my best to take everything easy and really appreciate my time off. My hair is proving to be a massive pain, i think its about time i dye it and chop it off. My outfit is pretty basic when I am just at home working. I normally just put a simple dress ready to make a mess. The black and white photo makes me laugh how small are my eyes?
I did the whole proud sister thing yesterday when Conor my younger brother was featured on ITV’s jubilee coverage at 8pm to do with the queens cavalry he helped work on the horse harnesses for the queen. I am really very proud of him for finding something he is so good at. I will be sharing with you all the wonderful things he has created. He is actually helping me with a few new things for RubyRaeLove, talking of new things I have been practicing pattern making, I am not the most technical person in the world so I have a lot to learn and practice until I am totally happy with what i will be making. Are there any great pattern making books for dress that any of you lovely lot would recommend?

    I really like your dress, it's cute and looks very comfy. Your paintings are looking wonderful too (just had a nose at previous posts!) and well done to your brother too, that must have been such a great experience! Urm, when I'm in need of some books I always check Amazon and their reviews, something will crop up I think!

    Love your hair! I wish mine looked like that, mine just has a huge kink in it and flicks out everywhere – not a good look!
    And wow get your brother hanging out with the queen! (maybe) fancy fancy

    You look happy in this photos, take care on you.
    I actually don't have a pattern making book, but as I am in love with pattern, i would say that you also find a lot around the net. spoonflower is full of nice and inspirational fabric!
    Wish you a happy day.
