This is the face of a very happy lady, i have just completed my first year as an lsa/ta at work which i am hoping will develop into a GTP and then fingers crossed becoming an art teacher. This is kind of something I have been wanting to do for a while, so i’m hoping its something that over the next few months i can work towards. But in other news i was also shortlisted for the cosmo blog awards under best lifestyle blog, which is just amazing and when i found out from Kylie via twitter i was in shock. Its so cliche to say “its just great to be nominated” but it really is…this little space of internet has given me so much confidence, hope and has given me some wonderful opportunities. So I just wanted to take the time now to say thank you for all the comments, kind words and love that I receive on a daily basis from such caring readers. There are some really lovely blogs that are shortlisted and some lovely ladies who’s blogs i adore which is always a bonus to be able to share such great news with them and all you lovely lot. I too want to do what you are doing with your career, I got sidetracked with a good start to a career in retail and still don't know which road to take because teaching has been a dream of mine most of my school life. I want to be a primary school teacher and I just need that TA or CS job to start with it! But well done! You're amazing for doing so well!

Both amazing achievements….my boyfriend was hoping to do a GTP too but I assume you haven't heard that the government have scrapped them and replaced them with something called Schools Direct which is harder to get into. I'm sure you'll get it though, but just wanted to let you know cos they don't seem to have publicised it!
