Its been a beautiful day here in london, I totally made the most of the sun, I did a little work over the allotment and read a little of my book. I am feeling a little lost at the expanse of time I have off from work, don’t get me wrong i am totally grateful for it but i’m not entirely sure where to start. I was talking to a friend the other night about time, work and being busy and i was thinking about the last time i was truly “free” from work and it must have been when I was at school. I graduated two years ago and since then I haven’t had a holiday, i’ve gone from job to job. I think its about time i take a slower pace in life and really enjoy my surroundings rather then feeling guilty for putting my feet up for more then two seconds. So the suns appearance was truly needed for my soul today. I threw on my new french connection summer address and chilled out in the sun. I am so ready for my trip to Paris. Today as a treat I made my favourite snack mashed bananas and cornflakes, it looks horrible but it is beautiful….you should try it!
look like you've had a lovely day, you truly deserve it. i love your sandals, where are they from? all the photos are just gorgeous xo

Aww well I think it's time you took a well deserved rest, enjoy it! I'm the opposite to you at the moment, I can't wait start uni in September just for someone to do. It feels like months and months since I split from college!
And that bananas and cornflakes definitely doesn't look too appetising, I'm intrigued so I might have to try it!

Beautiful photos (well, apart from the mashed up banana and cornflakes, which do look rather horrible, I agree!) – I'm glad you had a nice day, I think it's important to relax! I remember reading some of your posts a while back and you getting stressed and I felt really sad because you're such an amazing person! Sorry, rambling a bit!
Pip x
Enjoy the time you have for just you, it's really a lovely thing! I've been enjoying the slower paced life this summer and I'm loving it!
