London

This week has been wonderfully busy and this is one of the first in a long line of posts, So you have made it through all those photos and got to here…well done! I just couldn’t edit down all the photos for this post, so I thought I would share a few of my favourites from the day. Me and saul decided to head into town early for an adventure round london, hunting down pubs, good food and good clothes. I think I spent far too much on stationary again work hazard of being an artist is that you can never have to many sketchbooks and a never ending amount of excuses as to why you need to buy that 1000th sketchbook…We spent most of the day people watching from the seven dials and covent garden. I didn’t realise it at the time but gosh my hair is a mess…i got some crazy waves going on. We enjoyed watching all the tourists and olympic ticket holders dash around whilst we sat in the sun with the pigeons and drew. Conor was at work so we thought we would venture to our favourite chippy for a good old british classic, the chip shop itself is called The Rock & Sole plaice and it is the perfect place to eat good food and watch the world go by.

Lovely pictures. I went to London 2 years ago and it was QUITE a change from Pakistan, where I live so the only thing I did there was basically shop and go to popular places like Ben Ben and Piccadilly etc. Wis I had looked more for beautiful street like these, not that the touristy spots weren't beautiful, they were just ..touristy

I love London. One of my favourite cities – I try to go at least once a year :). Also, you don't need an excuse for another sketchbook – if its pretty, then that's enough to buy it :).
