The run up to christmas a beauty bloggers dream.. Beauty Advent Calendar

Its nearly christmas well when i say nearly its 70 days away and you know what one of our favourite traditions in my house ever since we were little was sticking our advent calendar to the living room door… ready to open that first little door and to take a peek inside to find something lovely and christmassy awaiting us in there. So when Selfridges contacted me about their amazing christmas Beauty advent calendar that contains 24 wonderful luxury miniature treats. I realised that the chocolate advent calendars my mum use to pick up in the pound shop weren’t going to cut it this year I had to find out more.

I know it s not chocolate ( i’m personally avoiding chocolate this year) this is a rather awesome advent calendar the Beauty advent calendar itself is  £82.00 but it comes with some lovely little treats everyday on the run up to christmas it can be purchased from the online store here. There are plenty of other beautiful advent calendars that can be purchased from the Selfridges website (here) if your not into beauty or fashion there are some really lovely traditional christmas advent calendars available to make christmas as exciting as it was when you were a child.

I selected a few of my favourite products that you might find in your advent calendar…everyone loves an illustration. You can see from the sneak peek on the website that you will find brands like Shu uemura and lancome available with the beauty advent calendar so the price tag is amazing for what you will receive. With the prospect of opening make-up, perfume or a skin care product (which we all have to admit would be welcome what with the cold weather drawing in)  I  am 100% a lover of Kiehl’s its the only tinted moisturiser that I use so when I saw that there were a few kiehl’s miniatures to be had in the advent calendar I decided this had to be my perfect (beauty) advent calendar this christmas. Also could you imagine pulling these crackers around the dinner table to find amazing  lancome treats inside?! So excited about christmas now…

Love your illustrations and feeling like I NEED this, think it's good value since it's worth a lot more than the crappy beauty boxes I subscribe to and end up with dry shampoo and cocoa butter! I am a big lover of Kiehls too so definitely making me feel tempted! xo

Gorgeous illustrations! So much more fun than just showing pictures of the products! Definitely a good idea for an advent calendar (although I'd definitely have to have a chocolate one aswell as something like this!)
