Another giveaway?! I know i just really wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me recently with kind words, and love for my illustrations, I really am truly humbled. Shall i tell you a little story behind these bearded men i keep drawing so everyone is aware by now that they are inspired by my dad. I dreamt up the idea when i was studying fine art at University college falmouth. We had a little house exhibition where i exhibited a few watercolours of tattooed ladies and a little man since then i have been a little bit secretly obsessed with drawing tattooed people, it has been my sketchbooks guilty little secret, so i was really genuinely shocked when i posted a little doodle on instagram (ella_masters) and the likes when crazy and so did the comments and i decided i had nothing to loose opening a little illustration shop, so yeah this give away is a way for me to say thank you for giving me back my confidence when it comes to my own creative practice you wonderful people. My little Etsy shop has a sale on until today…go and have a little look

I have gained confidence due to getting a job after nine months of being a jobless, miserable bum! Am so excited about being useful and having purpose it's ridiculous 🙂 I'd love to win Big Pop, he would live on my living room wall and make me smile 🙂 am @muddleduck x
Hi Ella! Thank you for opening a giveaway, it really is very generous of you 🙂
I'm studying law in Istanbul University, a sophomore, and while i was studying at our library, i noticed something yesterday. I've always wanted to be a lawyer, since middle school as far as i can remember. And at that moment, i thought i achieved my dreams. It sounds a bit stupid but, we generally don't notice the amazingness of the moment every day, we just live it without noticing. But yesterday i felt so amazing, so full of confidence, i can do whatever i want. I wanted to be a lawyer and in 2-3 years i'm going to be one. When you think this way, you can't help but feel confident with yourself 🙂 I couldn't help but smile. And i was smiling just by myself and there was a boy sitting opposite of me, and he obviously saw my cheering and he smiled back at me. I know at that moment he was happy too. A small cheer can seem so small, but it's so powerful.
Thank you again for this opportunity of receiving one of your amazing works!
Take care xx

I'm following you on bloglovin' by the way 🙂
I would say I have gained confidence in my own opinion, daring to wear skirts and dresses and dying my hair pink. Where I live, most girls wear skinny jeans and similar tops every day, have blonde and straight-ish hair. I've decided that what I think is nice and looks nice actually is nice (at least according to me, which is what really counts) – and now I trust my own opinion more.
I follow you via bloglovin', hope that works aswell! xx (agnesviktoria@hotmail.com)
Great giveaway! I'm so in love with your illustrations.
Recently I have gained confidence in my cooking, (sounds silly I know) I thought I was terrible for ages, but turns out when I set my mind to it in not too bad 🙂

your illustrations are so super dee duper ^_^ recently i gained confidence in a friend and the power of a real friendship. for possibly the first time in my life a friend was there for me at a time when i badly needed a shoulder to cry on. despite being a sobbing, crying mess, i was handed a cup of sweet tea, given several hugs, sat down for a lengthy chat and eventually fed with pizza until i felt better again.
Merry Chrimbo + Happy New Year 🙂

Ah I'd love to win this Ella, you are so talented! I've gained confidence in myself, and it's taken me the last year or so but I am no longer afraid to do things like simply talking to someone on the phone or going somewhere new! xxx
I've been pining for one of these illustrations for a long time now, thank you for this giveaway!
I've recently gained confidence in my own ability having taught myself to crochet; ordinarily I lack the patience and faith to learn new things but I stuck with crochet & recently followed in your footsteps to open my Etsy shop, now feeling like I really have something to offer.
I follow via Bloglovin & I've also tweeted at @OH_LIVIA

BigPop has so much character!! Love the 'serious but still goofy' eyebrow.
I have gained confidence recently in something small, yet big? I no longer wear heels as much.. seeing that I couldn't go out for dinner or drinks without heels on before, I've ditched them in favour for ankle-boots everywhere I go and enjoy everything so much more!
lorenbaites@hotmail.co.uk
Oh wow I wish I was even half as talented as you! I've gained confidence in my own appearance recently as so far I've lost 9lbs, so I'm feeling happy!
slhutchinson@live.co.uk
Your bearded men have always taken my fancy, I always love having a good nose at all the tattoo's on the arms – each sort of tell a story in themselves. I have gained confidence recently in my new job. It's a good feeling accomplishing something by yourself, especially as I'm a timid character. I still get those feelings of anxiety when I'm on the till and see a swarm of people in queues but I'm a lot better than I was!
My email is tattyboots@hotmail.co.uk
Best of luck to everyone who has entered :o)
Fab giveaway, I love your illustration style! I recently gained a little bit of confidence when I signed up for internet dating. Although I've stopped the whole dating thing again now, I was seeing someone nice for a while and it gave me so much confidence to know that, even though it was difficult, I can date and feel attractive. Feel a bit silly saying that!

Hope you're enjoying your Xmas break xx
I love these illustrations, and so does my mum actually, so thank you for this give-away!
Really recently i've gained confidence in my photography, and can now take more pride in it and actually think; 'oh i love this!'
cheramiblogger@gmail.com
I have been after this print ever since you made the posters of them (I know its not been long, lol). Such a super duper giveaway.
For many years I have taken a back seat when it comes to having an opinion on certain matters. Whether they be family related or just general debate stuff. It appears that people can't take criticism even if you have been most constructive, they just try to justify everything or make me feel bad. Sometimes people need to be told when something is not right. I like to think I am quite sensible with my views and I can get taken aback if someone says the opposite when I least expect it. For example I said on twitter that people better do there 2 min silence to remember those who gave their lives in the World Wars. I had one person say why and I got really mad with them. I do find many people disrespectful. I always listen to their views and I know I have to accept that is what they feel about the matter, but in general I am very ashamed of my generation. So basically I feel I am growing in confidence more and more in putting my views across as long as they do not target individuals but talking about issues as a whole. I find using big words makes my points much clearer (I love learning new words). I do find it difficult sometimes to construct my words and paragraphs, but I am learning all the time. One is never too old to learn.
love the illustrations!! so much talent!! my recent confidence booster has been with my fashion sense. i've always worried too much about what people thought and tried to keep my wardrobe simple and basic so i wouldn't be noticed…but recently i've been more adventurous and mixing and matching, bold prints, sweaters, skirts, dresses, etc and i feel fabulous!!!

I've gained the confidence to speak my mind and not just go along with everyone else. It's hard being a fish swimming upstream, but very satisfying and empowering.

love your tattooed/bearded men illustrations Ella! I love to draw too, although am nowhere near as talented as you, but your drawings and aesthetic genuinely are a huge inspiration to me!So I just thought I'd share that haha.
Anyway, the thing I have grown in confidence in recently is, and this might sound stupid, but in being myself. Sticking to my guns. Particularly in terms of my taste in clothes etc..since I moved to uni and share a house with girlies who are lovely but have very different tastes to me, I started to worry a lot that they would think I was weird or trying to be hipster or something. But I've grown up and realised I wasn't being myself, so that is my vow for the New Year too!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas too!
@lizzarroo
eeep! I love this print!! (You are so talented Ella!!)
I've gained confidence in being exactly who I want to be. I know that not everyone will always agree with my points of view (or I with theirs), and I don't see that as a big problem anymore. We are all different and it is silly for everyone to try and be the same!
moonbeamwishes@gmail.com
I love this print, the details in the tattoos and hair. Love it! I think I've gained some confidence in myself as an artist, that people actually do what to work with me. It's still hard though because I am so new.

I thought I'd do one relevant to this giveaway! I've gained more confidence in my own painting skills having been practicing with my watercolours over the last couple of months.

I don't often feel confident, but when I do it's usually when i'm painting. I've been teaching myself not to overthink or overwork my painting (as that can ruin it :p ).
Keep up the amazing work…

Hey Ella! I just loved these little tatted men 😉
I've gained confidence in every aspect of my life lately! In talking to people (something I detested before), in my clothing, my body, and my creativity. It's been a very inspiring couple of months and I feel like I've grown so much in the last couple months.
Have a beautiful day.

Yet another beautiful Illustration, seriously wish I was as talented as you!:). I think I have gained in confidence in speaking my mind more, I usually would rather keep quiet rather than cause a fuss but sometimes you need to express yourself more and I'm slowly learning to do that :P.

Your bearded men illustrations are beautiful Ella. Something I've found confidence with recently is to be bold and believe in myself and not listen to other people. I've got carried away with my 'propper day job' which I never really enjoyed and totally consumed me.I found the confidence to quit and start a creative job with people with mental health needs in January. I've also started being creative again and starting to put more work into my little handmade jewellery business (www.edwinasimone.co.uk) And feel a lot more as ease and peace already.
Keep up your beautiful illustrating,
Abbi x

I love your illustrations, and I love your blog. You have such a charming style and I'm glad that you are confident in sharing your bearded men cause they are awesome. I have recently found confidence in my ability to run.. Strange I know, but I haven't really been active since middle school and I am horribly out of shape (I've also had exercise induced asthma for awhile now) But recently I started jogging and its been wonderful. I also just got some confidence in myself as an artist and I hope it will help me to produce more creative things.

I've found confidence in my family. We were quite broken when my parents divorced five years ago and we all floated about together but not really together. Earlier this month my dad got remarried, my brother got his first proper job and my mum got a new one so everyone has settled and I feel like I know them again now.

I love this picture, it's so cute!
I've recently gained confidence in my appearance. I know that's a cliche thing to say, but I've never really had much confidence in the way I look, and although I still have days wear I wish I could change so many things about the way i look, but now more than ever I feel comfortable in my own skin. There's still a long way to go, but that's what 2013 is for!

I have gained confidence in me. Before I though that everyone else was better than me. They were more smart, more pretty, more talented, more skinny then me, but now I know that I'm special. We all are. And there's something that no one will do better than me, that's being me, being myself. Following your blog was one of the best things that ever happened to me. You give me confidence and I learned that we are all beautiful on our own way. So, thanks Ella. 🙂

I would like to enter this competition (something I have never done before!) so… What have I gained confidence in recently? hmmmmmm… Well a number of things! Firstly my blog, I started one in September and am getting better as I go, but more importantly I gained confidence in talking to people, I haven't always had the best time recently, mostly with my relationships, relationships with my friends and family.
