Happy New Year you beautiful bunch of people!! So to kick the new year off I have been in my studio, busy working on new designs and creations. There is nothing like starting the new year being productive, I was brainstorming Ideas with my dad as he is my inspiration for all my creations he helped me refine an idea I have had lingering in my notebook for a while a more interactive illustration, I can’t say to much as I want it to be a surprise for my customers as what my next creation is but i am super excited to share it with you all, I think you might like it.
So for the start of 2013 it has been a wonderful chilled day, I know it is the first day of the year but I have a good feeling about it. My first Batch of Notebooks sold out within an hour of going online, one of my 2013 resolutions for my shop is to reach 300 sales so fingers crossed.
At the moment in my shop if you make an order you get sent a free bearded tattoo man print. There will also be a new set of Notebooks up.

I love your creative expression Ella! I started following you a while ago, and you truly inspire me.
I have been focusing a lot on painting (abstract) and kinda lost the belief in myself that I could do anything else creative.. It has been like that for years now, but after I started to read your blog (as well as other creative blogs) I am taking small steps back into the creative part of my life. It truly is my passion. I recently opened a Etsy shop of my own (I had one in 2008, but closed it after a little while) and I am excited and a bit scared now.. But I think 2013 will be a great year – and I think that this is the year when I will get in touch with the artistic side of me again.
So thank you! And best wishes to you with your Etsy shop and blog – I´m looking forward to see what 2013 will have in store for you 🙂

You have been so successful so far to come as far as you have with your sales on Etsy, and your wonderful drawings. I think I fell in love with your drawing! Opening and actually using an Etsy shop has been something I've wanted to do for a long time, and although I didn't put it on my list of things to do for the year (pressure, I'd have cracked!), I'd love to do it. You've inspired me, it's always hard to believe as a creative person that anyone would want to buy anything you've made or drawn, but you're proof that people do 🙂 and who wouldn't want to buy your gorgeous pictures!
