At the moment I am having a bit of a hair crisis, i have indeed once again ombre’d my hair as I do love ombre hair, ( yes i did do it at home) i have a crazy phobia of hair dressers you know when something is so different from what you are use to looking at in the mirror, it has actually made me a little paranoid that it looks awful, I have toyed with chopping it off or dying over it. Confidence where have you gone? I think I just need to get myself a good tan, and it will be ok. i’m still not sure about keeping it what are your thoughts on ombre?
Does anyone else have this problem with a drastic change to their appearance?
I have some rather exciting posts scheduled for the next couple of days…until then.
I love ombre hair .
I've wanted to do it to mine for ages but I'm a scaredy cat. And I don't like hairdresser either!
I think yours looks lovely! keep it for a another week or so and if you still are uncomfortable then do something else.
I might pluck the courage up and do mine : )

I think it looks lovely, I've had these kinds of crisis' before, done something drastic and regretted it… give your hair some deep conditioning treatment and see how you feel when it looks all lovely and shiny 🙂

I've been in a similar situation to you now for quite a while! I love my ombre hair but I get so bored of it sometimes too. I tend to get semi-permanent dyes like paste pink or blue and jazz it up a bit. I know not everyone wants blue or pink hair though ha so maybe just see how you go with it. I think it looks lovely though 🙂 xx

I love the ombre look, but my hairdresser refused to do it as under the current dark colour is years of beach abuse – and it would of literally snapped off! Oh well, they are the experts not me =)
I think the home kits give a really good effect but I am not brave enough!

Your hair looks lovely!I really wanted to try a full fringe/shorter hair but I still don't think I'm ready considering I've been growing my hair for two years 🙁

I adore your hair like this Ella, it's so pretty! You should be very confident in yourself as you hair is lovely and so are you 🙂
I think you just need to live with it for a while. I always find I look really weird after going to the hairdressers but then after a few days it's almost as if it grows on me and becomes my own- whereas when it first gets cut or dyed it feels more like a hairdressers creation as opposed to my own messy mop.
Give it a week- I'm sure you'll grow to love each other!
I love it. But like Lizzie said, you can always go back I you're not sure after a few days. I think I might have to ombré my hair for winter this year, if I can work up to courage. Haha.

I dont think anyone can go wrong with ombre hair but I think it is a little over done. Regardless of that comment, I would still love to try it but I can only trust myself also and since my hair has been damaged alot in the past from bleach and dye (its in much better condition now) I don't know whether to risk it or not! Oh being a girl is such hard work sometimes.. xxx

I have long hair for most of my life and then chopped it off last year. I immediately regretted it and am now trying to grow it back. I am all for changing color if you feel inspired. I just went from being a blonde to having copper red hair and love it 🙂
you will make the right choice!

I am a big fan of ombre hair. I think it looks good from what I can see of it in this photo. I know what you mean though, drastic change freaks me out too with my hair. Maybe leave it for a couple weeks and see how you feel.
