When ever I get the opportunity to support fellow creatives I jump at the chance, I decided the other day enough is enough and I need some Julia Pott goodness in my life. If you aren’t familiar with Julia’s work, you’ll fall in love with it as soon as you see it. I fell in love in second year on my Degree, after being inspired via her blog. I am such a sucker for her illustrations and especially the use of colour. I met Pott back in 2010, whilst doing a BUST craftacular in Bethnal green when Julia still lived in London, I think we talked about our love for jumpers and illustrations, she is pretty wonderful and plus I got to meet her mum, who was wearing an amazing patterned jumper.
Julia is probably best know for her animations which can be found on her website which is linked below, I often get asked by my readers who I find inspiring and Julia is definitely up in my inspiration pack of creatives, that I look up to. Mega talented with an amazing hair do what more could you ask for to keep you inspired.
I really wanted to get myself an original Illustration, never expecting Julia to send me a little something extra, which was such a lovely gift, after a morning of exam scribing. Julia’s shop will be closed from 6th June so if you want to order something do it soon, she has a good deal going on as well. I am pretty sure I will be far to afraid to get my tote bag mess as its pretty awesome. Now to find myself some lovely frames and get them up in my studio, blue tack just won’t cut it.
