Its been a little while since I got back from my trip to Cornwall with mum. The morning of the sunday when we awoke in Cornwall was just the most relaxing thing ever. I often get up early even on holiday, that morning was no exception as we went to bed that night at 10 pm exhausted from the journey and the crazy influx of fresh air in our londoners lungs.
Mum makes the best tea fact! so i got my paints out and put my good old university friend Ben howard on and chilled to the max whilst painting the scene out of our living room window. The view was rather wonderful over looking the houses on the other side of the valley. The little boat drawing was the one I gave to uncle Bert.
The thing I love about being in cornwall, is the amount of colourful things you come across just on a little stroll around. I always loved it when I walked along the walk ways and ragged walls you would find tiny delicate daisies and wild flowers that would grow out of the cracks.
The house that was opposite the cottage we were staying in was rather intimidating and quaint at the same time the houses were all rathe mismatched and I think they all had a certain charm about them which I found perfect to draw and paint.

Lovely trip.
Utterly dreamy, I am dying to get to cornwall while the sun is still shining! Can't beat an afternoon with the paints, looks like you had a lovely time!
