Having fun with Aero the Aero bubble challenge

I was contacted the other day by the lovely @LifeAtRed  about this fun Aero challenge whilst I was sat in a pub in oxford whilst me and my youngest brother chatted about life….I told about the challenge and I have never seen him so happy! So a few weeks later here we go.  I am just going to say now that I was obsessed with mint aero chocolate…thats beside the point. So after watching my brothers bounce around the house for the last few days. We decided to venture out over our allotment and have a good old mess around. Now it was a childhood dream to own a space hopper, I was a left over child of the 80’s slinkys, yoyo’s and anything colourful and remotely dangerous were our thing (totally 100% sarcastic on the danger part).

Can I just say a lot of other adults did give me and my brother a very odd look, I believe it was because they had been overcome by jealousy at the fun we were having so, we carried on jumping up and down the road and yes it did involve me occasionally falling of into a row of flowers but who cares. Don’t worry i didn’t hop about and eat the Aero Bubbles, now that would be dangerous.

So we bounced alot, it was very warm and we bounced about picked flowers and the hopper was great as an escape when my brother was being chased by bumble bees. What would you do if you had an adult sized space hopper? well you can read more to find out how you could win yours.

You could win your own Bubble Hopper Kit and lots of lovely Aero bubbles. There will 5 winners will be selected All you need to do is comment in the comment box below with  your own idea of how to use the bubble hopper kit in an unusual and creative way. Contact information like an email is needed aswell so you can be easily contacted.
If you have been selected you will hear back by the 12th August, please remember to come up with a fun and unusual way to use the kit. ( Please remember to stay safe)

OMG Ella you are so so talented! Yours drawings are insane. I adore you skirt too, very pretty 🙂

Right my idea of using the hopper … I'm quite short, not amazingly but top shelfs are a nightmare, anyway, if I could get a massive bounce I could reach things on the top shelf and bounce round the supermarket to take the dullness out of the weekly shop! Maybe best not doing it with eggs though …

My unusual way would be just to travel around on it, instead of walking or cycling, it would be super handy! Just imagine bouncing into town on it.. maybe not so good in the rain but it'd make a fun alternative in the summer.

Aaw, I'd love one! I've actually already used a spacehopper in two unusual ways!

    1. At work (I'm a primary school children), I raced the children on spacehoppers in the middle of torrential downpour whilst wearing a onesie (It was Comic Relief!). The spacehopper was slippery, the handles slipped out of my grasp, I bounced right off and over the spacehopper, and landed in the middle of a huge puddle. I had wet knees all day!

    2. On Sports Day, determined to regain my credibility after the Spacehopper Puddle Incident, I raced my teaching assistant with the class looking on and cheering. I won, and I was very very pleased!

So now I guess I need to out-do myself. I would use it to create a choreographed dance-bounce routine with the kids in my class. How cool would that be! We could use "Jump" as the music!

That illustration is amazing and you look gorgeous and so happy! 🙂 Happy = Beautiful!
Hmmm my entirely original and unusual way of using the space hopper would be to get a load of them, fill them with helium, attach them to my house with string and fly to paradise falls with a boy scout and a talking dog.

The illustration is possibly my favourite by you so far! You look like you've had loads of fun 🙂

I'd love to get seven trays of paint in rainbow colours and bounce into them one at a time and they bounce across loads of sheets of wallpaper to leave rainbow splonges behind! My boyfriend could attach his camera to it and we'd have a video of a big rainbow-y picture being made via space hopper 😀

Your photos look like so much fun. The illustration is amazing.
I would have a competition, my husband would throw Aero bubbles at me when I am sitting on the hopper and I would try and catch them in my mouth without falling off, then we'd switch. The person who catches the most bubbles wins 🙂 x

I organise small events to raise money for the RNLI for my Dad who passed away this year. I would use the space hopper to do a sponsored hop to raise money for his fund 🙂 I've done a sponsored walk already but a sponsored hop is yet to be done.

When my friend first moved into his flat, all he had was a sofa and a space hopper. It became a running joke that a space hopper was an essential in any new home. When me and my other friend moved in together, he bought us a tandem space hopper. Impossible to bounce on, but hilarious to try.

Great post Ella, especially that illustration 🙂

My creative idea would be building a gigantic rucksack to fit it in and taking it on the tube – that way people would just bounce off me in rush hour whilst I'm munching on my aeros haha!

    Your illustration is amazing!
I would take the bubble hopper to a festival! I know the season's almost over, but still..imagine how fun it would be bouncing around to your favourite bands 🙂 I'm quite short so hopping on it would help me get a better view of the stage haha
    Thanks!
