Next press day SS’15

So today I spent it catching up with friends Lyzi, Jazmine and Kristabel I haven’t seen for a while and looking at beautiful pieces from the spring summer 15 collection with Next. So I fell in love with a few pieces, mainly the red jacket it was pretty perfect, lovely shape and I’m really into my oversized wool jacket at the moment. 

I did love the amount of patterns that were dotted across the collection, I really liked the mix of reds and pea greens, colour combinations that I never thought would work. Co-ords are definitely still a thing, I am personally yet to wear a co-ord don’t think they’re my thing ha!

You can always rely on Next for having nice pieces of home ware, so pistachio, green and Lavender play a large part of the spring seasons colour palette. Think floral with a mix of nature, butterflies and dragonflies. So me and Lyzi both fell in love with the sofas and arm chairs, the arm chair I snapped above was to die for! The mix of teals and cyan colours with pops of ochre really create a clean and fresh look.  Next are really working the statement lighting, I loved the copper pendant style lighting, i’m just jealous of anyone who has their own space, I would love to have that in my life.

The children’s collection is always my favorite part of press events, the colour combinations and fun print. I enjoyed the seaside themed dresses that are obviously going to be everywhere this summer as i’ve seen similar items on instagram. Love a bit of the seaside and bright colours. 

Now my favorite part of today was getting the chance to sample some lovely next inspired biscuits and having a much needed warm chai latte. I do enjoy the small things!
