We got the opportunity to pop along to this years Taste of London
with AEG to sample some of the countries finest food and drink. The
first part of the event was getting the chance to cook with the school of wok.
We got to sampled Hoisin cocacola ribs Now i’m not a natural cook my
ability to follow instructions is some what lacking so I pretty much
left all the hard work to J and I just folded the fancy chilli
wantons and discovered I was pretty good at that. Cooking really didn’t
take that long (hence the name flash fried venison with tamarind sauce) which I was surprised at, the results were pretty tasty.
After cooking up a storm and discovering I looked like something from the Good Life we took the time to wander around and see what delights we could discover, J’s favorite had to be the Somerset Charcuterie never seen a man so happy. There were hundreds of great stalls offering healthy snacks, indulgent goodies and mouth watering take aways. We enjoyed a few ciders, cocktails and a lovely prosecco whilst enjoying music and the sun setting. Nothing makes me happier then good food, warm weather and good company.
