My weight loss and well being journey : My next steps

MY MARATHON NEWS AND WHAT NEXT IN MY WELL BEING ADVENTURE

I had a great response from you guys in regards to a recent post I penned My weight loss and well being journey and I wanted to keep you updated on my next exciting stages. So one of my biggest targets is running the London Marathon, I have bagged a place with Asthma UK and getting my routine sorted is a big scary thing. Now this is an exciting time as I have never done anything remotely as scary as this i’ve finally gotten around to setting up my JustGiving page for Asthma uk you can sponsor me here and if you do it would mean the world to me as I have to raise £1,800 to run.

As of recent developments, keeping in shape has been a bit of a pain juggling my time between houses, my massive work load and life, so your words of encouragement have be gratefully received. I have had to switch up my work out routine due to sustain a nasty muscle strain during a spinning class (first and last one ever! more on that soon) so I alternate running with using a step machine which has been really efficient for burning those calories and working my poorly thigh muscles. I have really enjoyed pushing myself on the step machine as it doesn’t let you really stop till you’ve reached your target so once i’m on the machine there’s no stopping till I have hit 3,000 steps.

I have been feeling somewhat lethargic as of late I think that’s from late nights working and quitting caffeine for a bit. So my next few steps for my well being is to clue myself up more on foods for energy, I want to be making sure that the food I consume helps me.  So I have been hunting down and doing some research and I’m a little bit in love with Deliciously Ella I really want to boost my diet and culinary skills so I will be sharing what I manage to get upto pretty soon with some exciting work out vlogs, yes I am finally branching into moving image.

I am also going to be incorporating foam rolling into my morning regime as I was kindly gifted one by race for life and I have heard good things, Kayla Itsines shares a few insights in to the pros of foam rolling and I do love a good excuse to roll around on the floor and stretch.

HOPE YOU’RE HAVING A WONDERFUL WEEKEND
