Day to Night all in the boots baby!

So just as I was getting into the swing of summer (always a late one in England) Autumn appears and that outfit transition moment starts to creep in. Having the right pair of boots for me is vital. I grew up with a Mother who taught me that the staple of a wardrobe includes a good trusty pair of boots. Comfort for me is so important, as my day to do life I am on my feet for nearly 10 hours a day. Often I can be found dashing around London carrying a heavy work load between illustrating and networking.

I love the Western style boot its probably my favorite style out there, the western ankle boots looks great with most items I wear day to day, it gives a more elegant touch to often my very laid back look. I find during the day wearing jeans is the one for me, comfort, warmth and they are timeless making easier for me to pick what top to go with it the less stress I have to deal with in an outfit the better!

East London is my chosen haunt when I am working, I find working there
in the day to be one of my main inspirations, I love surrounding myself
around the busy environment helps me work. So when M&S sent me these Western Boots to style and fit into my everyday adventure, I couldn’t help but fall in love with them.

Often I will spend a few hours in the morning working, before I head out in the afternoon to snap some photos, and meet with some friends, adapting my day outfit is often just a simple mix up of a black elegant dress or a nice classic Aline skirt for an evening of blog networking or brand meetings. I find this is were the western boot fits in so nicely as a staple of what I wear, it has a low heel but at the same time makes me feel like I am still dressed to take on whatever way my day progresses into. For me an Autumnal boot doesn’t have to be clunky my feet are often the last thing to feel the cold, as long as I layer up and these would look equally fab with a thick pair of tights, these boots represent to me my style.
