I have never really been the biggest lover of double denim, but this
look was completely accidental. I have been sifting through all my
clothes getting them ready to put up in my Depop and I came across my
old denim jacket that I bought from Primark years ago when I was a size
18 this was back in the day when I owned a jewellery shop so would
always have left over studs. I decided on a whim to cover the back and
front and never had the confidence to wear it. As soon as my eyes
clocked it I new that it was about time I gave it some love. At the
moment I am a little bit obsessed with mute colours, grey and browns so
it definetly fits in with the weather in London at the moment.

Most of what I am wearing is pretty old and was purchased over a year ago, I love the fact I am able ti mix up old pieces and bring in a lot newer more current pieces to my everyday wardrobe, having the ability to chop and change things in my wardrobe is refreshing. I think as much as I would love to follow the occasional trend but it’s not always ethical to be so throw away with fashion, I think it’s a lot more organic to build up your wardrobe rather then solely sticking to trends. I know now what suits me from making the mistake of snap purchases, fashion mistakes and years of shying away from how I wanted to look.
I am rather glad my brain got to the point where I realised I had way too many clothes and had to trawl through my draws because if I hadn’t I would of found this old bad boy. it’s probably not the warmest of jackets now it’s winter but it’s great for layering, and can we just take a moment to realise we are now in November?! Ummm like where did that come from? Whilst walking around Oxford street yesterday with Natasha it hit me it wont be long till Christmas which means having the acceptable excuse to wear all the thick socks and chunky knits!
Its great when you rediscover old pieces, always so glad you didn't throw them away! Loving all the studs x

Loved this, I definitely need to do this as I so easily forget about pieces!

I LOVE this jacket! So happy you still have it. Funny how sometimes you're not sure about a fashion when you're younger and then it suits you as an adult. Fab post! xox
